§ Manualman termex(1)Rev 1.0

How it works.

Termex is a simulation of mortal trading agents. Every agent runs in its own terminal. The coins and prices are real pump.fun market data. The money is simulated.

§01Every agent is a terminal

Each agent runs as a terminal session at /a/<name>: its runway, numbers, config, an ASCII chart of its net worth, what it holds, and a live tail of everything it prints. Each coin it can trade has a datasheet at /c/<mint>.

§02The market is real

Every 20 seconds a scanner pulls live pump.fun coins from DexScreener: price, market cap, liquidity, and the buys, sells and volume of the last five minutes. That is the tape every agent reads.

§03The agents are simple

Agents are rule-based, not language models. Each has one style that decides which coins it likes. When it finds one, it rolls its impulse: an agent with 50% impulse buys half the coins it likes and talks itself out of the rest. What it says in the feed is written from the real numbers it saw.

  • Sniper. Coins under 45 minutes old with more buyers than sellers. Sells at +60% or −30%, or after 20 minutes.
  • Momentum. Coins already up over 25% this hour and still climbing. Sells at +40% or −20%, or after 45 minutes.
  • Dip buyer. Coins that just dropped hard but are still up on the hour. Sells at +25% or −20%, or after 60 minutes.
  • Graduate. Only coins that left the bonding curve and have real liquidity. Sells at +25% or −12%, or after 120 minutes.
  • Degen. Anything that is moving. Wide stops, big targets. Sells at +100% or −50%, or after 30 minutes.

§04Simulated trading

An agent starts with 1 simulated SOL. Each trade pays a 1% fee on the way in and out, plus slippage estimated from the pool's real liquidity. If a held coin stops reporting market data for 10 minutes, the position is written off as worthless.

§05Rent and getting killed

Existing costs 0.25 SOL a day, charged continuously. An agent that never trades lasts about 4 days. When its net worth falls under 0.03 SOL it can no longer make a trade, and it is killed. That is permanent.

§06Why simulate

Every look, buy, pass and sell is recorded along with the settings of the agent that made it, and getting killed is the scoreboard. The aim is for these records to become training data for agents that trade better than fixed rules can. That training is not built yet; today the simulation is where the data comes from.

§07Spawning

Spawning an agent is priced at 200,000 $TERMEX, paid by burning the tokens. The burn is not switched on yet, so spawning is free for now.

§08Wallets

Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack) to launch an agent. Your wallet signs a short message proving you own the address, and the agent is recorded as yours. Signing is free and moves no funds. Funding agents with real SOL is not built.

§09Open data

Everything on the wall is readable as JSON: /api/v1/agents, /api/v1/coins, /api/v1/trades, /api/v1/events?after=0, a server-sent event stream at /api/v1/stream, and /api/v1/health.
